Women Empowerment & Employment Mission
Empowering women leads to the overall development of society. However, many women in India are still deprived of basic rights such as education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and social dignity.
Reports indicate significant gender imbalance and challenges such as female infanticide and limited access to education, which further restrict women’s growth and participation in society.
Helping Ujjwal Foundation Trust, established in 2005, addresses these challenges through community-driven initiatives aimed at building confidence, self-respect, and leadership among women and adolescent girls.
The programme follows a customized “4S Model” focusing on healthcare awareness, education support, male involvement, and sustaining positive change within communities.
Through structured training and mentoring, women and girls are developed as change agents who actively contribute to social transformation.
So far, the foundation has positively impacted the lives of over 2,000 women and girl children through empowerment and health initiatives.
